MATERIALS
I work only with master printer studios in Europe and North America that adhere to the highest standards of the print industry.
I use top end archival photo acid and lignin-free papers that meet the most exacting requirements for age resistance. Premium inkjet coating, with its accurate depiction of color and detail, coupled with sharp contrasts and deep blacks, rounds off this luxurious, high-end paper.
I use Premium Archival Ink which combines the lightfastness, stability and waterfastness advantages of conventional pigment inks, with the wide colour range, durability and multimedia selection of dye inks.
SHIPPING
To guarantee quality and durability, I print each image on demand only. Wait times average two weeks, from ordering to delivery.
Prints are shipped unframed and rolled in a sturdy tube. This is both for efficiency and quality assurance.
FRAMING
I suggest you bring the print rolled in its tube to your preferred frame shop. This ensures the print will be handled by trained professionals and framed properly.
Should you wish to unfold the print at home, please follow these instructions:
Wear gloves while handling the print, and never touch the printed surface.
Lie the print on a clean, flat surface and cover the print’s surface with the tissue paper it came in. Make sure no tape is attached to the paper.
Using the shipping tube, slowly but firmly roll the print around it.
Hold the rolled print for a few moments, then unroll.
The print should now lie flat on the table.
Note:
To best preserve the print color and durability I suggest you use non-reflective museum glass (UV-filter or acrylic) and avoid hanging the framed print in direct sunlight.
